Our School
Auburn Middle School (AMS) is the “hidden gem” of Montgomery County Public Schools. The ~300 student body, grades 6-8, boasts an architecturally exquisite and technologically advanced facility. The Auburn District has the benefit of having one campus for the elementary, middle, and high schools thus creating and maintaining a close, caring community. Building positive relationships is the key to the success of our students; the AMS staff know each student on a personal level. The AMS mascot, the Bald Eagle, is a symbol of great strength, long life, and majesty. School colors are royal blue and white. AMS believes strongly in developing the whole child by working to build each student’s intellectual, social-emotional, and physical capabilities.
Auburn Middle School is intentional in empowering all students with strategies to become productive, life-long learners.
AMS is dedicated to advancing educational equity by consistently striving for a welcoming, student centered, inclusive school environment. AMS actively reflects on our curriculum content and our instructional practices in an effort to reach each student, each day. AMS strives to include family and student voice in decision making. We are committed to maintaining a highly trained team of professional educators.
